Quality & Compliance Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within an engineering consultancy or similar field.

Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Implementer certification (preferred).

Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in quality management tools and techniques.
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
    • Experience with digital library systems and document management software.

Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain ISO-compliant documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Regularly review and update documents to ensure compliance with the latest ISO standards.
    • Control and maintain document versioning, distribution, and archiving systems.
    • Establish and maintain a centralized digital library for storing and retrieving organizational documents, reports, and project records.
    • Ensure proper indexing, categorization, and version control of documents for efficient access and retrieval.
    • Implement best practices for digital archiving, ensuring data security, backup, and compliance with document retention policies.
    • Conduct regular audits of the digital library to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO standards and organizational procedures.
    • Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Support the preparation and execution of external audits conducted by certification bodies.
    • Monitor engineering project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Collaborate with project teams to define quality requirements and specifications.
    • Perform inspections, tests, and evaluations to maintain quality benchmarks.
    • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
    • Facilitate quality-related training sessions and awareness programs for staff.
    • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and company quality requirements.
    • Maintain records of audits, inspections, and quality reports.
    • Support the creation of project-specific quality plans as required.
